Description
Sardine/sardina pilchradus : Sardine” and “pilchard” are common names for various small, oily forage fish in the herring family Clupeidae.
Sardines provide 2 grams of heart-healthy omega-3s per 3 ounce serving, which is one of the highest levels of omega-3 and the lowest levels of mercury of any fish. They contain a great source of calcium and Vitamin D, so they support bone health, too.

Cooking Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 4500F.
- Remove frozen fish from all packing and rinse under cold running water to remove any ice crystals.
- Arrange fish in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Cook your fish 18 – 20 minutes at 4500F, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 1450F and flakes easily with a fork. (Cooking time will vary according to the type/size of your fish.) Then remove from the oven.
