Threadfin Bream / Nemipteridae are a family of fishes within the order Perciformes. They are known as threadfin breams, whiptail breams and false snappers. They are found in tropical waters of the Indian and western Pacific Oceans. Most species are benthic carnivores, preying on smaller fishes, cephalopods, crustaceans and polychaetes; however, a few species eat plankton.

Threadfin Bream contains high content of omega 3 fatty acids, good content of vitamin b6 and b12, biocin and niacin, it is also rich in minerals like zinc, potassium, iron and phosphorus.

Storage Instructions: keep frozen at -180c to -200c.

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 4500F.
  2. Remove frozen fish from all packing and rinse under cold running water to remove any ice crystals.
  3. Arrange fish in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Cook your fish 18 – 20 minutes at 4500F, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 1450F and flakes easily with a fork. (Cooking time will vary according to the type/size of your fish.) Then remove from the oven.

  2. Retirez le poisson congelé de tous les emballages et rincez-le sous l’eau courante froide pour éliminer les cristaux de glace.
  3. Disposer le poisson en une seule couche sur une plaque à pâtisserie.
  4. Faites cuire votre poisson 18 à 20 minutes à 4500F, ou jusqu’à ce qu’il atteigne une température interne de 1450F et se défasse facilement à la fourchette. (Le temps de cuisson varie selon le type/la taille de votre poisson.) Retirez ensuite du four.
